Memorial Day

My Dad shared this great clip with us last night at our Memorial Day BBQ. Thanks Dad for reminding me of what I have been blessed with because of other Men and Women sacrifices.

I never got to know my Grandma Cash's Brother, Robyn Willey. He was killed in the Vietnam War when he was 20ish. But I have heard many stories about him, how he was brave and fought for our freedom. I am grateful for his willingness to give His life so that I can be free, so I don't have to live in fear. I am proud to be an American. I am sure I don't understand the sacrifices these Men and Women and their families make and have made, but I hope I never forget what they have done and still are doing to keep us free. THANK YOU

That is really nice-- I think it is so important to remember why we all get this day off... besides camping and BBQ's. Jack's b-day looked sooo fun! You do always throw a good party. I am glad you had fun at the zoo! We tried to go a few weeks ago and it was so crowded we couldn't find a place to park within walking distance. Sheesh!! Hope you have a fun summer! We will let you know when we come down!
