I have found 3 of my new favorite things... Drum roll please.

#1 Design Theory... This little store that is way over priced, but darling. It has super fun clothes, great jewelry and to die for furniture. It is a must see. And the best part about it is that everything is at least 25% off right now. I got a cute skirt that was normally 50.00 for 20.00! Someday when I am rich I will shop there all the time!!!!

#2 Haven.... A great new restaurant, it is delicious and not over priced. The atmosphere is awesome too... and the service was great. Most definitely a great date place.


#3 Blurb.... we just got our blog book back and it is perfect. I have never been a scrapbooker, so this is great for me, and hey I put so much time into this blog I should at least have something to show for it. Thanks Sam and Amy for showing us this company.

President OBAMA!

History in the making..... The inauguration was such a neat thing to watch today. I don't remember watching any others in the past. I am proud to be an American, our country is amazing. How blessed I am to be born here. Even though I consider myself to a republican I have always kind of liked OBAMA! Of course there are a few things that I disagree with... But I think he will be a great President. And wow what a big job he has. I can not imagine the stress he has got to be feeling. I could see it in Bush's eyes as he got on that plane, he was done, He had fought and done all he could do. I admire Bush's poise as he passed the Title down to Obama. They both seemed so mature, knowing that they had completely different views they definitely had respect for one another. A great trait in both. I really fear what our country will face in the coming years.... it actually terrifies me. I think Obama has good intentions, I hope we can all pull together and get our country out of the financial mess we are in. But with that said... I think of this past week when that plane went down in the Hudson River and how heroic those people were, and how each one of them cared about the survival of the passenger next to them. What an amazing story... Okay that was kind of random. But it just made me realize that no matter what our country faces we are amazing... And I feel lucky to be a part of all of it!

FAVORITE FAMILY NIGHT

I have been nervous to take Jack to a movie on the BIG SCREEN! Until Now. We just got back from Madagascar 2, and he loved it. Well, we all loved it. I'm not sure if Shawn and I loved the movie as much as we loved to see our cute little boy snarfing down handfuls of popcorn and slurping his drink, as he was totally enthralled in the movie. I can't get enough of this kid. He is the best, and like I have said many times, he makes the simplest things so... fun.

One more bad habit down the drain.

Shawn is officially a non caffeine drinker. He won't admit it but he was addicted, so for his new years resolution he stopped. He has been complaining that he has had headaches for the past few weeks but he has held on strong. He now is addicted to Tylenol, but hey it's not soda, just kidding. Great JOB!!! Hang in there!!!

BAD OMEN????

Is it a bad omen to start out the first two weeks of the new year with a family FULL of sick people??? We just seem to keep passing it from one person to the next. But I can proudly say I think all 3 of us feel pretty well today, HURRAY!!! I am the worst sick person, I hate it hate it hate it!!! Well, I don't know too many people that love being sick, but I really hate it. I think I hate it more when Jack is sick, I feel so bad for him. We had a week straight of movie days... He is now abscessed with having a movie on all the time, which I hate, but he says "ON" so cute it is hard to resist. I love that the weather has been so beautiful lately, yeah. Can't wait until spring, we really miss the park.

The BIG New Years Eve Bash!!!

You know a party is going to be successful when the whole thing is centered around FOOD!!! Liz and Jordon invited us to their house for a 7 course meal. It turned out great and SO... Yummy.


Two facts for you.... One It will NEVER be a dull party if you invite John Stuart and Boys never fully grow up!!!!
